My job is to protect you from many Pathogenic Invaders, such as bacteria, viruses, fungus, even cancer cells.
I, the Immune System, am the Third line of Defense against the Invaders
The First line of Defense is the skin, mouth, breathing passages and stomach.
The Second line of Defense involves Inflammatory Response, when Phagocytes or macrophages try to destroy the Pathogenic invader
I have a strong army of soldiers called white blood cells or lymphocytes, there are may different types of white blood cells or WBC for short:

Cytotoxic T-cells (Destroy cells invaded by Viruses)

Natural Killer T-cells or NK (Destroy Cancer cells)

Macrophages
