This week we will be learning about microscopes, scientists involved in the discovery of the microscope and cells, and the cell theory.
- September 23rd: QUIZ on Metric System:
* Students should use their class notes to study as well as the
powerpoints from the Metric System page
* Know the 5 common metric prefixes:
- Kilo Centi Milli Micro Nano - give example for each
* Know the 2 rules of conversion to convert unlike metric units:
1. Converting from larger to smaller units - multiply or move decimal
point to the right
2. Converting from smaller to larger units - divide or move decimal
point to the left
